Originating from an illustration Brooke crafted in 2017 as a personal passion project, this endeavor draws inspiration from Roman Polanski’s “Repulsion,” a 60s horror film centered around a woman with a pathological fear of interacting with men. The project pays homage to the film’s bizarre nature, capturing its eerie elements and incorporating a typographic nod to 60s design. Executed in Photoshop, this homage reflects Brooke’s fascination with the film’s unique filmmaking approach.
