Your Studio's Photoshoot
is Coming Up!

grid of group poses that says "Get Your Classes Ready"

For Teachers and Staff:

Prepare your students by planning out some poses. When your students are prepared, we are able to get more photographs for you to use!

Provide dancers with 3 individual poses they can use. They’re welcome to choose their own pose as well! We recommend picking one pose that has 2 feet firmly planted on the floor, one pose that is on one foot, then they can try a jumping pose. If you have dancers who cannot hold one of the latter poses for 5 seconds, then we recommend doing a floor pose option or another more secure pose instead.

IF YOUR STUDIO IS DOING GROUP PHOTOS
Layering the kids works better than one line. Be sure any kids in front of others have their arms down so as not to block the kids behind them. You can email photo references of your group poses to dance@andrewsartistry.com if it will help! Be sure to include the name of your studio and class in your email.

If you need more ideas, check out our pose inspiration guide:

Examples of individual photos: standing on 2 feet, then one foot, then leaping
